Introducing the latest theme for hwa2u.com, “Roses Are Red”, released on 11th November 2006, a very good figure of date and also to remember a very unhappy incident happened exactly a month ago, which is also the reason why i choose this theme colour mostly black and white.

I name this theme as “Roses Are Red” is because during the design stage of the layout, the only color that other than black and white is red, which is the rose, and i was going to put a few more roses, but the plan changed half way because i couldn’t find other better place to put the rose, and now there is only one rose in this theme, lame huh? 😆

This is actually the first WordPress theme i created so i hope you will like it, and i really hope that you will tell me what you think of this theme, and if you found any bugs or strange behavior of this theme, such as misalignment or anything, either by send me an email or post a comment here, thanks you very much. 🙂

This few days i had been busy designing my new WordPress theme, and no time for blogging, sorry about that, for now the theme should finish by nearly 80%, only left a few minor templates and some tweaks.

Actually i started to design the new theme since end of last October, but i’m not very good in designing so it took times, and i’m learning the WordPress theme system as well, however i’m very happy in doing this. 🙂

This is my first attempt in creating WordPress theme so please don’t expect too much from it, hopefully by this few days the theme will be finish. 🙂

Yup!! Another new category added! This time it’s about Entertainment, here i will talk about musics, movie or even games, anything that is related to entertainment will go under this category.

So far all my categories are:-

• Blogs – For all my daily nonsense.
• Breaking News – To talk about international or local news that are worth to know about.
• Entertainment – Anything related to entertainment go under this category.
• Fun Stuff – To share something that is interesting i found in the internet.
• Softwares – For latest software updates and tips.
• Tortoises – For my lovely little Star Tortoise Betty. 😳
• WebLog – Anything that is related to blog is under this category, including blogging tips and updates in my blog.
• WordPress – For WordPress updates and tips like plugins and so on.

If you are subscribing with Google AdSense, and feel that PSAs (Public Service Ads) is spoiling the look of your blog or website, or simply think that PSAs doesn’t make any profit to you, then you may consider to use the Alternate Ads to display something that you like, such as an image or other advertisement, or perhaps you might want to try the Collapsing Ad Units.

Collapsing Ad Units is an alternative way for you to do something with your advertisement space if there are nothing from Google to advertise, in fact the Collapsing Ad Units will just close your advertisement space so that the particular space will looks like normal page without any advertisement. To me i think that this is the best way to preserve your blog or website look.

In order to use the Collapsing Ad Units, first you must download and host a small HTML file on your domain, remember that the HTML file must hosted on each of your domain or subdomain that you display your Google AdSense, you can’t share the HTML file.

To start using the Collapsing Ad Units please do the following:-

1. Download the collapsing ad units file below by right-clicking and choose “Save Link As…”.

2. Upload the collapsing ad units file to your domain/subdomain, please note that each collapsing ad units file only for one domain/subdomain, so mean you have more than one domain/subdomain to do the collapsing ad units then you have to upload collapsing ad units file to each corresponding domain/subdomain.
3. Login to your Google AdSense account then go to AdSense Setup, enter the full URL path to your collapsing ad units file (like the one below) into the Alternate Ads URL text box to generate your AdSense code.
   http://www.example.com/scripts/google_adsense_script.html
4. Copy and paste your AdSense code into your web pages.

Please note that this Collapsing Ad Units will only work if you host your blog/website in an external server or previously upgraded to Blog*Spot Plus.

After browsing and reading my previous post, i noticed that i can still divide some of my post into another two new categories, these categories are:-

• WebLog – Anything that is related to blog is under this category, including blogging tips and updates in my blog.

Lately i had been actively update my blog, adding stuffs and so on to helps improve the traffics, i tried not to make any crucial changes in order to keep the originality, but suddenly i feel i need to change the blog title to better suit my blog identity.

I decided to change my blog title to hwa2u.com because the previous one doesn’t suit my blog at all! I know by doing this will give a big impact to my blog especially the traffics, but still i feel that it will be better to change my blog title.

Guess that’s it! From now on my blog will known as hwa2u.com same like my domain, so to those who subscribed my previous FeedBurner feed, please resubscribe with the new one here, sorry for the trouble.

*sign* a lots of thing need to do now in order to get back my traffics. 🙁

Just did some changes to my blog, the major one would be my poor little guestbook, i removed it 😥 for god sake that no body is leaving their message there!! 😡 My guestbook was already been there for like decades ago, but still there are only 8 comments… Sad. 😥

However i added link to all the topics that is related for each of the topic i posted, you can see the link at the end of each entry.

I also added a few categories so that my blog will be more organized, before this i only have one 😳 anyway these categories are:-

• Breaking News – To talk about international or local news that are worth to know about.

Oh and another thing, i enabled comments in all of my post, so from now on you guys will be able to leave comments in my blog. 🙂

I realised that as time goes by, my archive list at sidebar there become more and more longer, hence making it not very nice to see and slow down the loading time as well, so i decided to add another new archives page.

I moved all my archives from sidebar to the new page with the helps from Clean Archives 2.0, and now my archives looks much more tidy and organized, thanks to Shawn Grimes for his great plugin! 😉

Other than that i did some minor adjustment to the blog as well, one of them is the Random Image at the sidebar there.

Now that if you guys has noticed, i already setup my very own picture gallery, just to share all the picture i took with you all. 😉

Well i’m not a professional photographer or whatever, the pictures in the gallery just daily quick snap that i took mostly with my K750, so please don’t complain too much. 😆

So far there aren’t many picture in the gallery, but i will try to fill the gallery as soon as possible, so for now please enjoy the picture available.
