Lately i had been actively update my blog, adding stuffs and so on to helps improve the traffics, i tried not to make any crucial changes in order to keep the originality, but suddenly i feel i need to change the blog title to better suit my blog identity.

I decided to change my blog title to hwa2u.com because the previous one doesn’t suit my blog at all! I know by doing this will give a big impact to my blog especially the traffics, but still i feel that it will be better to change my blog title.

Guess that’s it! From now on my blog will known as hwa2u.com same like my domain, so to those who subscribed my previous FeedBurner feed, please resubscribe with the new one here, sorry for the trouble.

*sign* a lots of thing need to do now in order to get back my traffics. 🙁

Happy birthday to you my dear Mona, tried to call you but no one picked it up, you must be celebrating your birthday with other people and i’m very disappointed… 🙁

Just did some changes to my blog, the major one would be my poor little guestbook, i removed it 😥 for god sake that no body is leaving their message there!! 😡 My guestbook was already been there for like decades ago, but still there are only 8 comments… Sad. 😥

However i added link to all the topics that is related for each of the topic i posted, you can see the link at the end of each entry.

I also added a few categories so that my blog will be more organized, before this i only have one 😳 anyway these categories are:-

• Blogs – For all my daily nonsense.
• Breaking News – To talk about international or local news that are worth to know about.
• Softwares – For latest software updates and tips.
• Tortoises – For my lovely little Star Tortoise Betty. 😳
• WordPress – For WordPress updates and tips like plugins and so on.

Oh and another thing, i enabled comments in all of my post, so from now on you guys will be able to leave comments in my blog. 🙂

I realised that as time goes by, my archive list at sidebar there become more and more longer, hence making it not very nice to see and slow down the loading time as well, so i decided to add another new archives page.

I moved all my archives from sidebar to the new page with the helps from Clean Archives 2.0, and now my archives looks much more tidy and organized, thanks to Shawn Grimes for his great plugin! 😉

Other than that i did some minor adjustment to the blog as well, one of them is the Random Image at the sidebar there.

Now that if you guys has noticed, i already setup my very own picture gallery, just to share all the picture i took with you all. 😉

Well i’m not a professional photographer or whatever, the pictures in the gallery just daily quick snap that i took mostly with my K750, so please don’t complain too much. 😆

So far there aren’t many picture in the gallery, but i will try to fill the gallery as soon as possible, so for now please enjoy the picture available.

My deep condolence to Mr. Steve Irwin or better known as Crocodile Hunter’s family and friends, who died after being stung by stingray while filming a documentary. According to CNN, Steve was killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest, full report at here.

Well i’m not a big fan of Steve, but i think that it’s a big lost for such a great environmentalist.

For those who upgraded their Yahoo! Messenger to the latest one, here are some tricks to remove the advertisement, but bear in mind that this tricks involve altering your system registry value, so if you are not sure what you are doing or don’t even know what is system registry, then please stop now, i won’t be responsible if anything happen to your computer. 🙂

Here we go…

Yahoo! Messenger

1. Exit your Yahoo! Messenger.
2. Open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager\YUrl
3. Create new String with the following name on it.
• Messenger Ad
• Webcam Upload Ad
• Webcam Viewer Ad
• Webcam Viewer Ad Big
• Webcam Viewer Ad Medium
• Change Room Banner
• Conf Adurl
• Chat Adurl
• Y Content
4. Modify all the string to the value *(an asterisk).
5. Close your Regedit and go to your Yahoo! Messenger directory, by default should be
   C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\.
6. Navigate to the Cache folder and find the file named urls.xml.
7. Open urls.xml and delete all the content, left only “”.
8. Save urls.xml and close it, after that change the attribute to Read-Only.
9. And now you are done, go open your Yahoo and check to see it works or not!

WordPress 2.0.4!! From what the developers said, the latest version fixed over 50 bugs!! So it’s worth to update, so get yourself a copy at here!! And if you are upgrade from previous version, you can go here for the instructions. 🙂

Have you ever think of removing those annoying advertisement from your Instant Messenger? I know that it doesn’t effect your chatting experience, but you just don’t feel like want to spare some bandwidth for those stupid advertisement don cha? I know how you feel… 😆

Anyway thanks to me, here i found some tricks to remove advertisement from ICQ Lite and Yahoo! Messenger, Enjoy^^

ICQ Lite

1. Exit your ICQ Lite.
2. Go to the folder where you install your ICQ Lite, most probably
   C:\Program Files\ICQLite
3. Browse to the folder LiteDataFiles, most probably in
   C:\Program Files\ICQLite\LiteDataFiles
   
4. Look for the three XML files named banners.xml, datafiles.xml and psearch.xml, write down the name in a piece of paper, or just remember them. 😉
5. Rename all the three XML files to something else, for example like banners.xml to banners1.xml, anything will do.
6. Then create three folders, and name them to the same name as the three XML files earlier, which are banners.xml, datafiles.xml and psearch.xml.
7. You are done now, open your ICQ Lite and the advertisements should disappear. 🙂

Here are the trick to remove advertisement from Yahoo! Messenger, but warning!! this trick will involve the alter of windows registry, if you never play around with windows registry before, or don’t even know what is it, then i would suggest you to stop at here, for i won’t be taking any responsibility if anything happen to your PC, nor helping you to recover it. 😉

Yahoo! Messenger

1. Exit your Yahoo! Messenger.
2. Open Regedit and navigate to
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\pager\YUrl
3. Create a new string value and name it to Messenger Ad with the value *(an asterisk).
4. You are done, now go open your yahoo and check it works or not! 😈

Basically you are done with the Yahoo! Messenger trick, however if you wanted to, you may change the registry value from the quote below to *, which will remove advertisement for other part of the Yahoo! Messenger, like the advertisement while waiting webcam to load, and if you can’t find the registry value, don’t worry, just create one, they all are string value. 😉

Please notes that this registry tricks only work until Yahoo! Messenger 8 Beta, it doesn’t work for Yahoo! Messenger 8 Final release. Too bad huh? 🙄
