Went Ipoh today, and watched “ROB-B-HOOD” (宝贝计划) with new friends. It’s the latest movie by Jacky Chan (成龙), and yes it’s an action movie but with a little bit of cute inside! Wait until you see Matthew! 😉

To me this movie is totally different with Jacky’s previous movie. He tried romance movie before, but to me it’s not that success, maybe a macho man just don’t fit in romance. But this one is totally different, he mixed this movie with his action together with humour, and plus a little bit of cuteness which make we all feel warm about this movie.

Louis Koo (古天乐) played an important role in this movie as well, i think that Louis suit this movie well, he acted in “Mighty Baby” (绝世好B) before so i think he know what he is doing, and i really like the way Louis acted so seriously in the comedy part.

Sorry that couldn’t review this movie well, however i do think that this movie is worth to watch, there are some part that really touched me, and it send out a very good message in how important a family is.

Just now after finish writing my blog, i went and have a look at the WordPress news at the admin dashboard there, and this bbPress 0.72 draw my attention, it’s a forum system developed by WordPress team.

bbPress 0.72 is the very first official release of this forum system, they called it 0.72: Bix. 0.72 after WordPress’ auspicious beginnings. These are the key features:

• Fast and Light: nothing you don’t need.
• Built in spam protection by Akismet.
• Really simple interface: we want people using our software to forget that they’re using it.
• Complete integration with WordPress.
• Both the look and the functionality are highly customizable.
• RSS feeds for everything.

I never knew WordPress is developing a forum system until now, and i haven’t tried it out yet, but since it’s developed by WordPress people, so i think it’s something that worth to hype about, WordPress really impressed me.

You can have a look at the example here, at first glance the forum look kinda plain, i guess it’s to suit the WordPress style where everything is mostly black and white, just like a newspaper. But worry now!! Just like WordPress, bbPress also comes with templates function, expect some cool design to come out soon.

Not to forget about the plugins as well, the most powerful features in WordPress to me is the plugins, i mean the plugin developers, because of them, WordPress become much more perfect.

Just reach home yesterday evening, around 6pm, was tired though, woke up at 8am and rushing until 6pm, busy all the time.

Now i reach home and i’m busy with some other stuff, gathering with friends etc, a normal hometown activities, and i need to do some other stuff while in hometown, such as go to bank.

I’m afraid that i can’t update my blog frequently now, but i try my best to keep update my blog as frequent as possible k? So keep on visiting, you might find something interesting here. 😉

This few days i had been busy with packing my stuff, i’m moving to another house start new semester, and tomorrow i’m going back hometown. So i might not be able to update my blog frequently within this few days.

Recently a lot of thing happen to me, and i can say that all of these are bad, it makes me sad, disappointed… 😥

I really hope all this will over soon, how soon i don’t know, i just hope everything will be over. Sorry that i doesn’t stated clear that what problem i’m facing, it’s personal stuff, and this is Internet, u know what i mean lol.

Just hope that tomorrow will be better…

To add Google and Slashdot into your Sociable WordPress Plugin, please do the following:

It’s near the end of the year, mean that the annual haze attack strike back again!! 👿 Every year around this time, our sky will polluted by haze from Indonesia, the same with the city i’m living now, Cyberjaya.

For the last four days, the sky is surrounded with haze all the time, and the vision is very poor, around 4km to 5km away and the view start to become blur. Sun light can’t penetrate the thick haze, however the weather still very hot due to the high level of Carbon Dioxide, and the worst is i can’t sun my Betty!! 😡

The invade of the haze is because the mass burning of oil palm plantation in Indonesia, they practising the Slash and Burn technique to clear the forest and then use it for planting, the ash will provides some fertilization. It’s easy and low cost, but give a very deep impact to the environment.

Few days ago a friend of mine asked me how to insert Google AdSense in between posts in the main page, too bad that she is using Blogger and i’m not familiar with it.

Anyway this is how i do it in WordPress, it’s very easy actually, all you have to do is to insert the following code into The Loop:

You may want to change the parameter to suit your need, there are only two parameters you can set, first one is:

For the total number of AdSense display in your home page, remember that Google only allow a maximum number of three AdSense displayed in the same page.

This one is to set your AdSense to display after the specific amount of post, the default setting is to display AdSense every two post.

Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival or Lantern Festival, whatever it called, in chinese we call it as 中秋节, is a chinese traditional festival where people celebrate it by eating moon cakes and playing lantern by hanging it around their house.

It’s a wonderful festival, especially when you get the chance to eat moon cakes. Mooncake Festival reminds me of moon cakes (duh), i miss moon cakes so much, been few years already i didn’t eat moon cakes… 😥

A WordPress theme by ikram_zidane, the “Merdeka” theme, a one panel white colored theme, very clean design, the navigation is hidden on top and will show up when you click the “Navigation” button, brilliant idea!

Merdeka in Bahasa Malaysia is mean freedom, ikram_zidane didn’t mention what’s the reason he name this theme but most probably is to celebrate Malaysia’s independent day, which is on 31th August. 🙂

It’s a very impressive work done by a boy just 16 years old (2006), added that he is from Malaysia (go go Malaysia boleh!! :P), you can have a look at the demo at here.
