Posted on November 2006 at about 4:33 PM by hwa

It’s been almost a month since my new semester start, and i had gone through one normal test and one lab test, now my project title is out and soon i will be damn busy.

This semester is a short semester, the whole semester only have three months time, this mean that the schedule is pack and you have to rush for everything. Our final exam start right after next year, and by the end of December is our study week, then trimester break and new semester start again.

That’s my university life, and yeah i know, it’s sucks… πŸ˜₯

Modem Burned! Laptop Spoiled!!

Posted on November 2006 at about 3:26 AM by hwa

It was two days ago, during night time, as usual i was surfing the Internet, if i’m right there was raining outside, but i was in the air conditioned room and didn’t notice the rain, the rain wasn’t heavy anyway. But suddenly a very strong lighting stroked and i was very sure that i heard a sound “Poop”! And then the whole house went black, accept my laptop.

Straight away i knew that the main switch was off, and i thought something was exploded, so i went reopen the main switch, but couldn’t find anything that’s exploded, maybe it’s just the sound when the main switch snapped off. Anyway, everything was alright accept the modem, yes it burned, but what worst is my laptop LAN module cannot function anymore, it’s spoiled i guess, πŸ˜₯ and now i’m online using wireless… πŸ™

Have to fork another RM65 to buy a new laptop LAN card. πŸ™

Haze Attack!!

Posted on October 2006 at about 5:30 PM by hwa

It’s near the end of the year, mean that the annual haze attack strike back again!! πŸ‘Ώ Every year around this time, our sky will polluted by haze from Indonesia, the same with the city i’m living now, Cyberjaya.

For the last four days, the sky is surrounded with haze all the time, and the vision is very poor, around 4km to 5km away and the view start to become blur. Sun light can’t penetrate the thick haze, however the weather still very hot due to the high level of Carbon Dioxide, and the worst is i can’t sun my Betty!! 😑

The invade of the haze is because the mass burning of oil palm plantation in Indonesia, they practising the Slash and Burn technique to clear the forest and then use it for planting, the ash will provides some fertilization. It’s easy and low cost, but give a very deep impact to the environment.

Anyway, here we at hwa2u.com would like to wish you all happy a happy Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival or Lantern Festival!!

Raped By Probability And Statistics

Posted on October 2006 at about 4:33 AM by hwa

Final is coming, and the first subject to test will be Probability and Statistics. πŸ™

I’m no good in mathematics, i admit that, especially Probability and Statistics. I’m ok in calculus, not bad in algebra, but not Probability and Statistics. πŸ™ I don’t know why they want an IT student to take Probability and Statistics, calculate the success rate in sending data between two different brand of cables? Well this the sample question in my tutorial! πŸ˜•

If they really want us to take this subject, they at least come out a questions that’s much more interesting that, such as the success rate of passing this subject with out study! πŸ˜†

Life is sucks when you have to force your self to do something that you don’t like you know? Of course i’m not saying that my life is bad just because my exam is coming, what i mean is we only live once, so why bother? It’s true that sometime the condition are not allow us to do whatever we want, but human should enjoy their life, for we are born to be free, freedom is our greatest asset, at least that’s what i think. πŸ˜‰

Well! Guess that’s all for now, i’m back to study. πŸ˜₯
